1. Macroeconomics, Financial Repression & Sovereign Debt

My Analysis: $40 Trillion US Debt and National Emergency Governance

In my analysis of sovereign debt markets, I view the $40 trillion US national debt as the defining constraint for global monetary policy. With annual debt servicing exceeding $1.4 trillion USD, financial repression is deployed to administratively suppress bond yields via short-term Treasury bills. This transfers structural adjustment pressure directly to the currency, driving capital reallocation toward tangible real assets.

Ahead of the 2026 midterms, I assess that presidential emergency powers (National Emergencies Act / IEEPA) provide a rational crisis management framework for the executive branch to manage cross-border capital flows and enforce strategic economic controls.

My Economic Weekly (Recent Dispatches)

My ongoing professional dispatches on yield curves, debt markets, and liquidity.

Macro & Rates

Weekly Macro & Debt Analysis

This week, the 10-year US Treasury yield sits at approximately 4.50%, with the Fed Funds rate at 3.75%. The US national debt has crossed $40.3 trillion.

From my perspective, this structural macro environment demands careful observation. The dynamic between high sovereign debt issuance and monetary tightening is actively reshaping global capital flows.

3. My Leadership Philosophy & Executive Practice

High-Performing Teams & Friction Removal

»I build professional environments where ordinary people are empowered to achieve extraordinary results together.«

  • Leadership as Human Investment: My role is enabling talented professionals to succeed rather than tracking administrative tasks.
  • Leading from the Boat: Operating like an ancient bireme—I row alongside my team, sharing workloads, accountability, and victories equally.

My Practice as Legal Section Head at Banedanmark

In my role leading Law & Sustainability at Banedanmark, I executed an inhouse litigation strategy where our own legal counsel represent the authority in civil court trials. This transformed our recruitment and delivered significant taxpayer savings with a 100% success rate in insourced trials (covered in AdvokatWatch).
